It’s Monday! What Are You Reading?

2a

It’s Monday! is a weekly meme hosted over at Book Journey that allows bloggers to post a sort of wrap-up of the past week while also looking to the week ahead. Without further ado…

Last Week: Work was crazy busy, it being start week and all. But everything went pretty smoothly. On the home front, we got all of the furniture and bigger things rearranged in preparation for Tiffany moving in on the 26th. Other than that, it was a pretty chill week. Lots of Netflix, video games, Big Brother, and reading.

Speaking of reading, I thought it was going to be a slow week, but I got through several things. The Dog Days of Summer Readathon was really helpful in motivating me to read over the weekend, with the added bonus that now I get to take a few things back to the library and get them off my overly bloated account.

Looking Ahead: Big week ahead, as Tiffany moves in with us on Saturday. I’m definitely feeling a little bit apprehensive, but I’m staying positive. This is also the last week of Big Brother and the first week of The Amazing Race, so I’m sure I’ll be glued to the TV a fair bit this week. I also just created a list of some classic horror movies that are on Netflix, so I’m thinking we’ll get into the Halloween mood this week and watch a couple. Plus decorating, of course! The fall is packed with so much fun stuff to do, I can only hope that reading retains its place at the top of the list.

Chapelwood (The Borden Dispatches, #2) The WikiLeaks Files: The World According to US Empire Ghostlight

I looked at the date earlier…I can’t believe September is almost over!! Where does the time go?

  1. It’s a good feeling to take those books back to the library, isn’t it?? The problem, of course, is not bringing home as many as you took back!

The converging of scary fall movies and fall tv starting again is pretty dangerous for our tbr lists!
